My work brings together political geography, futures practice, creative methods, and experience across academia, diplomacy, education, and operational analysis. I am particularly interested in collaborations that create space for intellectual experimentation, bring different perspectives into conversation, and examine the political and social implications of emerging technologies and possible futures.
Workshops and Facilitated Programmes
I design individual workshops and longer participatory programmes using scenarios, speculative materials, collaborative exercises, and structured discussion.
These can help participants examine assumptions, explore preferred and alternative futures, engage with complex questions, and work across different priorities and perspectives.
Research Partnerships
I am interested in collaborative and commissioned research concerning:
- outer-space politics, diplomacy, and governance;
- space stations and post-ISS futures;
- infrastructure and sociotechnical change;
- geopolitical and institutional imaginaries;
- cooperation without consensus;
- speculation and preferred futures;
- embodied geopolitical knowledge.
Projects might combine research with workshops, interviews, reports, exhibitions, educational activities, or public events.
Speaking and Writing
I welcome invitations to contribute conference papers, panel discussions, guest lectures, research seminars, public talks, essays, reports, and commissioned writing.
Education and Public Engagement
I collaborate with universities, research centres, schools, widening-participation programmes, and cultural or community organisations.
This can include course and curriculum development, scenario-based learning, workshops for students and researchers, qualitative-methods support, and programmes that translate complex ideas for wider audiences.
