I use speculation as a method for thinking beyond the futures that dominant institutions, infrastructures, and political imaginaries make appear inevitable. 

Speculation is not prediction, fantasy, or escape. I use it as a practical and political method for questioning hegemonic discourses, interrupting path dependency, and opening space for more preferable futures to be imagined, debated, and worked toward. 

Through workshops, scenarios, prompts, public conversations, exhibitions, and collaborative exercises, I help groups examine the assumptions shaping the present and ask what other futures might be possible.

I am co-founder of the Speculative Worlds Research Collective, which works at the intersection of creative methods, artistic practice, and worldbuilding. The collective brings together interdisciplinary research, public-facing events, and experimental forms of inquiry into politics, environment, and futures.
